CHIVE TV Local Sales Account Executive

Chive Media Group is looking for a seasoned, proven DOOH seller who can evangelize, represent, and effectively sell CHIVE TV (the newest, largest bar and restaurant media company in the world) to local advertisers in the liquor distribution, bars & restaurants, CPG companies and alike in your region.

Job Description:

  • Develop local advertising sales business for theCHIVE’s fastest-growing new product—this includes everything from prospecting to closing new business clients for CHIVE TV advertising opportunities in the greater Chicago, IL (and surrounding areas).
  • Aggressively seek new clientele by networking, cold-calling, canvassing, referrals, etc.
  • Ideal candidate knows how to speak to local business owners/managers and has no fear of walking into those businesses cold to secure meetings/interest and pitch the product.
  • Generate local market excitement for the newest and best local media advertising opportunity.
  • Be the face of CHIVE TV in Chicago for local marketing events, clients, and responding to all inbound sales requests – and represent theCHIVE brand well.
  • Design, create and deliver customized advertising proposals/presentations that remain on-brand for CHIVE TV.
  • Deliver exceptional client service.
  • Constantly be building networking with local marketers.
  • Consult internally on market feedback for ad products, content, and overall product to make CHIVE TV as easy to sell as possible.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Chicago Local Media Sales; DOOH/OOH sales experience preferred.
  • Strong Preference for Beer/Liquor advertising experience + relationships.
  • Proven experience growing and maintaining a robust sales funnel in Chicago, IL.
  • Recognized top sales performer with a track record of over-achieving sales goals.
  • Strong sales acumen and proficiency in all phases of the sales cycle, proactive outbound sales and new account development.
  • Ability to perform independently in a fast-paced, hyper-competitive sales environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills; outgoing, sociable, and charismatic – you pride yourself on being able to strike up a conversation with anyone.
  • Accustomed to working with creative thinkers, digital marketers and editors.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field is preferred.
